10/11/2002 Archived Entry: "CALL Search Utility: FlashMX Demo"

My CALL Search Utility is now available.

There are literally thousands of websites that relate to the topic of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). In order to keep abreast of the most popular sites, I make frequent visits to several of the more powerful Internet search engines (e.g., Google, Lycos, All The Web, Altavista, among a few others). There, I perform searches with the terms "computer assisted language learning".

I've recently been working a lot with the FlashMX authoring tool and found it very handy to create a small application to help automate this search process for me. As others may find it useful as well, I've decided to post it to my website.

I welcome your ratings and comments on this tool.

If you prefer not to install the Free Flash Player but would still like to use/demo my CALL Search Utility, please let me know.

If there is enough demand, I will offer downloadable versions that will run from the desktop (and not in a web-browser). Of course, an Internet connection is still required.
