Current Discussion Topics
The link below will take you to the current discussions. We suggest that you first view the older messages before posting a new one:
-
Test Recordings
Check your ability to record and play a LetsTalk audio/video message. This is the best place to start. Make sure you can see and hear messages, then try to record a message or two of your own. Check your volume settings, adjust the lighting and your hair and smile for the camera!
-
Today's Breakfast
Talk about what you had today for breakfast: a cross-cultural collection of thoughts on morning cuisine and eating habits.
-
Homework Assignments
Teachers--post your ESL/EFL assignments and then invite your students to complete them here.
Be creative and have fun--just be sure to have your students visit these forums individually and not in groups (even small groups) all at once. We have limited bandwidth available for this service.
Please see the Instructor Guide for further information.
-
The Weather
Give your current local weather report and talk about weather events around the world.
-
Introductions
Introduce yourself, a colleague, a friend, or even a topic to the mix. We're always happy to meet new people, favorite pets, and to consider new ideas.
